Robert E. (Bob) Wadley, 65, 724 S. Cedar, died today at Hillcrest Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the First Christian Church with Russell Casey and Gerald Rendell officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born July 27, 1926, in Scranton, Ark., and married Dorothy Rowland on July 24, 1948, in Sapulpa. He served in the U. S. Army tank corps during World War II and had lived in Sapulpa since 1945. He was a retired Creek County Assessor and a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include wife Dorothy; mother Ocie Wadley of Sapulpa; sons David Wadley and Dennis Wadley, both of Sapulpa; daughter Sue Lee of Sapulpa; sisters Donna Morris of Sapulpa and Reba Mae Rowland of Westerville, Ohio; brother Paskel Wadley of Grove; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert Wadley Jr. were held today at First Christian Church with Russell Casey and Gerald Rendel officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Harold Adams, Eugene Dale, Devin Wadley, Randy Wadley, Harold Moore, Clyde Sellers and Harold Bingham.

Honorary bearers were Buck Hupman and Arby Lutz.

Mr. Wadley, a former Creek County Assessor and a Sapulpa resident since 1945, died Monday at Hillcrest Medical Center.
