Former Judge Creekmore Wallace, 102, died Friday, Jan 13, 1995, at his home near Pryor.

Services have been scheduled for 2 pm Monday at the Pryor Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Janie Strednak officiating. Burial will be at the Graham Memorial Cemetery, Pryor.

He was born Oct 31, 1892 in Roscoe, Texas. His family moved to the Indian Territory. Before admittance to the Oklahoma Bar, Wallace worked as an iceman and a clerk in the Sapulpa hardware store.

Under the guidance of a Pauls Valley Judge, Wallace read for the law in order to pass the Oklahoma Bar Exam. He later became a state representative and was a specialist in Indain Law.

He married Corinne Gibson in 1914 and the couple moved to Sapulpa where he and his brother opened a law practice.

She preceded him in death.

Survivors include children, Mrs. Joseph Richard, Lawton, William C. Wallace, Pryor, Peggy Dollarhide, Muskogee, and Mrs. William E. Favor, Tucson, Ariz.

Other survivors include 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
