Updated: 06 Sep 2009 MARIE WASHINGTON Marie Washington, 74, 1302 E. Bryan, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. Date and time for services are pending. Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home. Washington was born Feb 9, 1919 in Sand Springs and was a Sapulpa resident all of her life. She was a member of the Opportunity Baptist Church and was a private nurse. She is survived by her husband Overton Washington of the home; sons Johnny and Robert, both of Sapulpa; daughters Dorothy Ann Tiger and Patricia Taylor, both of Sapulpa; brother Woodrow Perry of Sapulpa; 12 grand children and 10 great-grandchildren. MARIE WASHINGTON Funeral services for Marie Washington have been set for 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Garnet Cole officiating. Burial is to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Serving as casketbearers will be Todd Washington, Travis Washington, Timothy Washington, Mike Thomas, Al Wilson and Michael Petitt.
