Janice Elaine Watashe, 34, 6325 S. 155th W. Ave., died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at North Heights Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. W. C. Hamilton officiating.

Burial is to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Watashe was born July 15, 1959 in Tulsa. She was an area resident all of her life and was employed by the native Head Start Program in Tulsa. She was a member of North Heights Baptist Church and a Pretty Water Schoolbooster.

Survivors include husband Allen of the home, father and stepmother Virgil and Linda McNatt of Sand Springs; mother and stepfather Eva and Roy Snodgrass of Sand Springs; son Bryan Allen of the home, daughter Melissa Elaine of the home, brothers Linda and David McNatt, both of Sand Springs.

Funeral services for Janice Elaine Watashe were to be held today at 2 pm in the North Heights Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. W.C. Hamilton officiating.

Burial was to follow in the Oak Dale Cemetery in Mannford under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were Mike Clark, Jimmy Gill, Kenny Sams, Chris Tankersley, Steve Kinsey, Jerry Spry and Don Cunningham.

Watashe died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
