Mary Levena Green Wear, 85, of Sapulpa, died Tuesday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.

Services are to be held at 1 pm Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel with Dr. John Nelson officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Wear was born Feb 28, 1908 near Searcy, Ark. She was a Tulsa area resident most of her life and a member of the Oakridge Baptist Church.

Wear is survived by son Walter Green of Sapulpa; daughter Vernal Blackman of Sapulpa; brother N. J. Evans of Tahlequah; sister Elva Cossey of California; three granddaughters, four great granddaughters, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services for Mary Lavena Wear, 85, of Sapulpa, were to be held at 1 pm today at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel with Dr. John Nelson officiating.

Serving as casket bearers were Paul Slaton, Jeff Slaton and Shelley Slaton Embree.
