E. R. (Gene) Webber, 68, died Thursday in Kellyville at his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at the Pilgrims in Faith
Church, Kellyville, with the Rev. Wayne Bookout officiating.
Burial will follow in Kellyville City
Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
Mr. Webber was born in Cotter, AR on Apr 16, 1923, and was married Jan. 24,
1951, in Mountain Home, AR. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II,
seeing action during the D-Day invasion. He worked as a fireman at Vance AFB and
later served as a deputy sheriff in Creek County. He moved to Kellyville in
1969, coming from Broken Arrow.
He was a musician, a charter member of Pilgrims in Faith Church, a charter
member of the Oklahoma Law Association, and a member of the Enid Masons Lodge
501.
Survivors include wife Marie; step-sons Terry Barkley of Lamont and Sam Barkley
of Clovis, NM; and three grandchildren.
The family will headquarter at the home in Kellyville.

Funeral services for E. R. "Gene" Webber will be held at 2 p.m.
Saturday in the Pilgrims in Faith Freewill Baptist Church, Kellyville, with the
Rev. Wayne Bookout officiating.
Casketbearers will be Joe Baxter, Randy Parker, Johnny Bowers, Chris Long, Ernie
Victory and Bruce Harvey.
Honorary casketbearers will be Jack B. Sellers, Jeffery Sellers, Don Henderson
and Stephen White.
