Raymond E. Wegley, Sr., 66, of 322 S. Maple, died Friday in his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at the Smith Funeral Chapel with
the Sapulpa Elk's Lodge officers officiating.
Internment will be in Green Hills
Memorial Gardens.
Wegley was born Dec 15, 1925 in Fort Smith, Ark. He served in the Navy during
World War II. He lived in Sapulpa for 17 years after moving here from Okmulgee
and worked for the Bartlett-Collins Glass Company. He was a member of the
Presbyterian Church and the VFW in Okmulgee and the Sapulpa Elk's Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Elsie of the home; sons Thomas and Robert of Sapulpa,
Ray of Bonham, Texas; daughter Karen Fox of Houston, Texas; sisters Bettie
Chywski of Bellvernon, Pa., and Ruth Kwsey of Okmulgee, and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services for Raymond E. Wegley, Sr., were held at 2 pm today, in the
Smith Funeral Chapel with the Sapulpa Elks Lodge officers officiating. The
eulogy was read by Dude Widdoes.
Arrangements were under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Serving as casket bearers were Bill Bristow, Earl Cline, Scott Boren, Lorn
Hopkins, John Wallace and Ron Ragland.
Mr. Wegley, a Sapulpa resident for 17 years, died Friday at his home in Sapulpa.
