$10,000 Is Awarded To Orphaned Girl

A judgment of $10,000 plus funeral costs was returned Tuesday by
a federal court jury against Dave McConnell former head of the
state crime bureau.
The action grew out of an automobile crash in May. 1935. in
which Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W. Weidman, Drumright, were killed.
Earl D. Alford. Oilton,. administrator for the orphaned
daughter, Margaret, 13 years old, brought the suit. Counsel for
McConnell and the bonding company said the verdict would be
appealed.
