Updated: 06 Sep 2009 June 22, 1989 Kellyville - David Carl Weins, 61,Oakhurst, died Tuesday at Riverside Nursing Home, Jenks. Graveside services will be 11 am Friday at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home, Tulsa. He was born April 1, 1928 in Kellyville. Mrs. Weins was a member of Southwest Baptist Church of Tulsa and was employed as a painter for 25 years. He also served in the U. S. Army in Korea for two years. Survivors include sons James David Weins of Oakhurst, Eddy and Donny Weins of Wichita, Kan., and Hardy Weins of Mannford; daughters Rose Hicks and Brenda Friend, both of Tulsa, Patty Lambert of Dayton, Ohio, and Pam Jones of Oakhurst; brothers Marvin Snyder of Euless, Texas, Richard Snyder of Fort Worth and Danny Joe Snyder; sisters Mary Frances Smith of Sapulpa, Thelma Mock of Tulsa, Helen McDonald of Fort Worth and Sue Ann Dildine of Wagoner, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
