Roy G. Wesley, 66, 212 S. Maple, died Sunday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday at New Life Independent Church with the Revs. Harold Jones and Don Hartsell.

Burial will follow under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Lee Wesley, David Wesley, William Wesley, Floyd Wesley, Isaac Wesley and Roy Neely.

Mr. Wesley was born May 27, 1925, in Kingbee, KY. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Dane in Lewisville, Ind. by the Rev. A. F. Byrne on May 27, 1944.

He was a farmer until 1968, when he went to work as a roustabout for various oil drillers. He was most recently employed by the Bob Click Company before he retired in 1988. Mr. Wesley was very active in various church activities in the area.

Survivors include wife, Mary; sons Lee Wesley of Tulsa, David and Floyd Wesley, both of Kellyville, and William and Isaac Wesley, both of Sapulpa; daughters Donna Neely of Tulsa, Paula Rodriguez and Nancy Hall, both of Adair, Eva Ruhl of Mountainsburg, AR, Loretta Ritchie of Hampton, VA, and Elizabeth McGraw of Junction City, KS; brothers Ray Wesley of Owensville, KY, Homer Wesley of Sommerset, KY, and Estel Wesley of Dayton, OH; sisters Hazel Burton of Owingsville, KY, and Berthie Dick and Lula Lam, both of Science Hill, KY; 41 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the Wesley residence, 212 S. Maple.
