Annie Bell Wheeler, 81, of 109 S. Spruce, Sapulpa, died Thursday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Oct 16, 1911, in Brawley, Ark., and moved to Sapulpa in 1980 from Hobbs, New Mexico. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by sons, Charles and Jimmy Wheeler, and one daughter, Viola Clouse.

Survivors include her husband, Edgar; daughters, Matti Bailey of Sapulpa, Marcella Waters of Sapulpa; Edith Calhoun of Turlock, Calif.; and Carmen Wheeler of Geres, Calif.; son, J. T. Wheeler of Sapulpa; thirty grandchildren and forty-eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Annie Bell Wheeler were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Oldham officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were Jerry Lynn Murray, Dewayne Mathews, Bill Bailey, Ronnie Shorpshire, Ivan Matson and Brian Slaton.

Wheeler, a longtime Sapulpa resident, died Thursday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
