PADUCAH, Ky. - Former area resident Lola Ethel Whitesides, 83, of Paducah, died Saturday in Benton, Ky.

Graveside services will be 11 am Tuesday at Brooks Memorial Park Cemetery in Paducah with the Rev. John Andrews officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Roth Funeral Chapel, Paducah.

She was a retired saleswoman who worked for a number of department stores and a member of the First Christian Church of Sperry.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include sons Robert J. Whitesides of Albuquerque, NM, William Dean Whitesides of Fort Wayne, Ind., Max Ray Whitesides of Henderson, Ky; daughters Ruth Ellen Johnson of Paducah, Lois Virginia Schum of Orlando, Fla.; sister Ruth Emma Coop of Tulsa; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
