George D. Williams, 79, of Drumright, died Sunday.

Services were to be held today in the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Sister Nellie Enkey officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.

Williams was born Oct 1, 1914 in Logan County to Marion and Lora Williams. He was retired from Commander Mills Co. in Sand Springs where he was a foreman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He is preceded in death by his parent; wife Rosie Marie Williams; son George R. Williams and daughter Laura Williams.

He is survived by daughters Phyllis Morrow of Drumright, Pracillia Williams of Tulsa and Rose Hager of Kellyville; sons Paul Williams of Sapulpa, James Williams and David Williams of Tulsa; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Casketbearers were to be James E. Williams, Ricky D. Williams, Fred Morrow, Chris York, William Davis, Jerry Morrow, Bill Morrow and David Hall.
