SHAWNEE - Former Sapulpa resident Mrs. David (Esther) Wilson, 86, of Shawnee, died Monday at Shawnee Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Shawnee, with the Revs. Daniel Suellentorp of Prague, Okla., and Vincent Traynor of Shawnee officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Shawnee, under the direction of Roesch Funeral Chapel, Shawnee.

She was born Dec. 3, 1901, in Hennessey, Okla., and married David Wilson in Pawhuska, Okla., in 1923. Mr. Wilson, who was employed by OG&E for 30 years, preceded her in death in 1963.

Mrs. Wilson lived in Sapulpa for 20 years and moved to Shawnee from Sapulpa in 1940. While in Sapulpa, Mr. Wilson was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and while in Shawnee, Mrs. Wilson attended St. Benedict's Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughter Patricia Pickering of Houston; sons John Douglas of Edmond, Okla., and David J. of Bethany, Okla.; sister-in-law Ruth Greenlee of Sapulpa; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
