Johnnie Joseph Wilson, 69, rural Sapulpa, died Monday at Hillcrest Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Frank Phillips officiating.

Burial is to follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Wilson was born Aug 29, 1924, in Pittsburg, Okla., to Isaac Richard and Emmey Eppley Wilson. He was married June 27, 1944, in Pittsburg to Millie Mae Eberle. He retired in 1967 from the Cotton Mill in Sand Springs where he was a machinist. He was a Sapulpa resident since 1957, coming from Pittsburg. He was a Baptist and a sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death in 1969 by his son Richard Wilson. The family will headquarter at the family home in rural Sapulpa.

Survivors include Millie Wilson of the home; sons Claudie Wilson of Sapulpa and Charles Wilson of Tulsa; daughters Jannie Fletcher and Norma Wilson, both of Sapulpa; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
