Nettie Lavena Mildred Staples Wilson

Nettie Lavena Mildred Staples Wilson, our precious mother, cherished grandmother, loving friend and faithful Christian is now an angel in our Heavenly Father's arms. She died Sunday, Feb 15, 1998.

She grew up in McAlester, where she met…Earl John Wilson…

They became husband and wife on Oct 10, 1926 in McAlester and were married for 65 wonderful years.

Nettie was preceded in death of her husband, Earl John Wilson; one son, John Earl Wilson; and two brothers Alex Staples and William Staples.

She is survived by sisters, Millie Staples Salmon of Haywood and Gertrude Staples Dun and Lois Staples Tanner Felton, both of Oklahoma City; children, the Rev. Eunetta Wilson Heath of El Reno and Virginia Wilson Scott and Earldean Wilson Billings, both of Sapulpa; <numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren named>

Services will be held at South Heights Assembly of God on Thursday, Feb 19, at 2 pm…
