Raymond J. Wilson, 74, 1015 E. Lincoln, Sapulpa, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Millard McGuire officiating.

Burial will follow at Bixby City Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Visitation at the funeral home will begin Sunday and continue through Monday evening at 9 p.m.

He was born Dec. 28, 1918, in Plato, Mo., to James and Fannie Lemmons Wilson. He retired in 1981 from Liberty Glass where he was a mold maker. He married Irene Lattie Wilson on March 8, 1948, in Kiefer. 

Wilson, a resident of Sapulpa for 30 years, moved to Sapulpa from Kiefer. He was a United Sates Army veteran, serving in World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre and received the Purple Heart and Good Conduct Medal Distinguished Unit Badge and Philippines Liberation Ribbon with Two Stars. He was a member of Sapulpa Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; son, T.R. Wilson of Sapulpa; daughter, Teresa McClain of Sapulpa; sisters, Lola Roller of Mounds and Edith Howard of Liberty-Mounds; and five grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 1015 E. Lincoln.

Casket bearers will be Bill Wilson, Donnie Lattie, Don Lattie, Jim Lattie, Bob Smith and Tom Haines.

Wilson, a longtime Sapulpa resident, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
