Carvel M. Winningham, 67, 224 W. Newburg, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center of a heart attack.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Winningham was born May 1, 1921, in Fentress County, Tenn., was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a Baptist, and a Sapulpa resident since 1947.

Survivors include wife Julia of the home; brothers Cletus Winningham of Nashville, Tenn., Carlos Winningham of Crossville, Tenn.; sisters Valeta Sloan of Houston and Ferber Cooper and Verta Thorpe, both of Illinois.
