Mr. Jesse E. Wood, 21, 708 N. Hickory, died Friday at his home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pickett Indian Methodist Church with the Revs. Paul Nichols, Jonas Partridge and Tom Long officiating.

Prayer service will be 7 p.m. Monday at the Pickett Church.

Burial will be at Hardridge Family Cemetery, south of Sapulpa under the direction of the Owen Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be Kelly Nichols, Paul E. Nichols Jr., David Brood, Henry Hughes, Randel Houston and Mike Houston. Honorary bearers will be the coaches at Sapulpa High School.

He was born Dec. 12, in Claremore, and lived in Sapulpa all his life.

He was a Methodist and was active in several sports at Sapulpa High School including participating on the football team and baseball team. Wood was a 1985 graduate of Sapulpa High School.

Survivors include mother Francis of the home; step-father Roy Joe VanZandt of Sapulpa; step grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E.M. VanZandt of Willow, OK; brothers Jim DeGraffenreid of Sapulpa and Kenneth of Oklahoma City; and sisters Carrie Watts and Julie, both of Sapulpa.
