WOODRUFF, Lula, 89, of Sapulpa, died Friday at McAlester Regional Health Center.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

She was born May 17, 1902, in Kansas and was a Sapulpa resident most of her life. She was retired as Chief Operator from Southwestern Bell Telephone. Mrs. Woodruff was a member of the Christian Scientist Church, Women's Chamber of Commerce, Southwestern Bell Pioneer Club, past president of Business and Professional Women and a member of the BPW Past Presidents Club.

Survivors include stepdaughter Mary Margaret May of Sapulpa; brother George King of Muskogee; sister Frances Bennett of McAlester; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Lulu Woodruff are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with Michael Waller officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Clinton Waite, John Douglas, Don Paul Wilson, Bob Donaldson, George Lindley and Bill Fuller.
