Wife of Former County Sheriff Taken by Death 

Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. John S. Woofter, wife of former Sheriff of Creek County. 

Mrs. Woofter died yesterday in San Antonio, Tex. Funeral services and burial rites will be held there. 

The Woofters moved their residence from Sapulpa about 1920.
