Warren Hartsel Woolf, 66, Sapulpa, died Friday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sapulpa Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Troy Hayes officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born July 10, 1924, in Houston, Ark. He married Edwa Dean Mahan on Dec 26, 1944, in Bigelow, Ark.

Mr. Woolf served I n the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a graduate of State College of Arkansas in Conway, Ark., and received his master’s degree from Northeastern State University. He also did graduate work at the University of Tulsa.

Mr. Woolf was a teacher and in Kiefer, Bixby, Sequoyah and in California. At the time of his retirement, he served as principal at Glenpool High School.

He was a member of the Glenpool Lions Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the COSA Retirement Group.

Survivors include wife, Edwa; daughters Jan Clark of Glenpool and Sherry Stobaugh of Kiefer; son Gary Woolf of Lake Elismore, Calif.; brother Billy Burke of Houston, Ark.; sisters Jessie Langston of Little Rock and Mary Frances of Conway; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Warren Hartsel Woolf were held today at the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Troy Hayes officiating.

Burial followed in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were Jim Blackford, Jim Edelman, Matt Church, Kenneth Phillips, Glen Kinnemer and Dennis Chaffin.

Mr. Woolf, a longtime teacher and administrator in this area, died Friday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
