Obituary: 

WILLIAM HENRY YAHNE, farther of Mrs. Sam Hare of Altoona, passed away at Sapulpa, OK, October 3, at the age of 88 years and 4 months. 

Mr. Yahne was born in Illinois and came to Kansas when a young man. He reared his family in Neodesha and was employed at the round house. Since leaving Neodesha 21 years ago, he had made his home in Sapulpa. Burial was made in Sapulpa. 

Besides his daughter, Mrs. Sam Hare, he is survived by four sons. Edward of Great Bend, James and Clarence of Washington state, and Wavie of Bell City, CA; a grandson Roy Hare of Earleton; a granddaughter Mrs. W.E. Hixon of Wichita, and a host of other relatives. Mrs. Hare, Mrs. Hixon and Lee Robbertson of Neodesha, a nephew of Mr. Yahne, attended the funeral.
