Mr. Curtis N. Young, 74, formerly of 1314 E. Hobson, died Monday at Timberlane Nursing Home, Edmond, following an extended illness.

Services will be 1 pm Thursday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Collins officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery.

Honorary casket bearers will be L. B. Jackson, Wally Dodson, Wetzel Thompson, Jack Wittenton, Clyde Buttrum and Donnie Napier.

He was born Nov 3, 1913, in Sapulpa.

Mr. Young worked for the L. B. Jackson Company for 35 years as a completion engineer. He retired in 1976.

He was a member of the Sapulpa Masonic Lodge and lived in Edmond for the past four years.

Survivors include son William (Bill) of Edmond; daughter Winifred Halbrook of Tulsa; brother Willard of Broken Arrow; sister Evelyn Kercheff of Sapulpa; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
