Terry Dale Zumwalt, 45, of Sapulpa, died today at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Funeral services and burial are pending under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Zumwalt was born July 30, 1947, in Frederick. A former plant manager for Stewart-Stevens Company in Houston, Texas, he served three tours of duty during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Texas and was an avid hunter.

Survivors include his wife, Joy; parents, George and Lillie Zumwalt of Lawton; sons, Jackie and G. O. of Houston, Texas; daughter, Amanda of Houston, Texas; brother, Mark of Sapulpa, Tim and John of Lawton; sisters, Sonja, Kathy and Susie, all of Lawton.

Funeral services for Terry Zumwalt will be held at 4 pm Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Hall officiating.

Cremation will follow.

Survivors include his wife, Joy; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zumwalt of Lawton, sons, Bill Turner and Chance Belk, both of Sapulpa; daughters, Jackie and Amanda, both of Houston, Texas; brothers, Mark Zumwalt of Sapulpa, Tim Zumwalt of Lawton, John Zumwalt of Abilene, Texas, and Scott Zumwalt of Oklahoma City; sisters, Sonja Zumwalt and Kathy Gowan, both of Lawton, and Sherry Hartley of Kilgore, Texas.
