Violet Fisher, of Sand Springs, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the age of 89. She was born April 16, 1930 to Michael and Gladys Weise in Ohio. Violet married her husband Henry Fisher on November 17, 1934 in Neosho, Mo. She was a homemaker.

Violet is survived by her son, Floyd Fisher and his wife Cassie of Oklahoma City; grandsons, Ronnie Fisher and wife Brenda, Henry Fisher and wife Patsy, both of Oklahoma City; granddaughters, Sybil Nichols and husband Murel of Amber, Debbie Clark and husband Freddie of Oklahoma City; eight great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren; and brother Emil Weise and sister Katherine Hoffer.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Bethany Holiness Church. Interment will follow in South Heights Cemetery. Pallbearers are Trae Toliver, Denton Toliver, Trenton Toliver, Michael Muzzy, Cleve Silcox and Brandon Brown. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
