Gordon Shumard of Sapulpa passed away Sunday December 20, 2009 at the age of 74. He was born May 30, 1935 in Saginaw, Mo. to Albert and Blanche Shumard. Gordon was the Seafood Department Manager at Wal-Mart in Tulsa.

He is survived by his children, Randall Lee Shumard and his wife LeAnn of Oklahoma City, Karen Deloris Melton of Oklahoma City, Jerome Paul Shumard of Yukon, Lana Ruth Shumard of Bixby as well as ten step-children; eight grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren; brother, Jon Shumard of Tulsa.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday December 23, 2009 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dean Robinson officiating. Pallbearers are Christopher Hanson, Sammy Evans, Josh Evans, Mike Snyder, Greg Melton, Timothy Melton.
