On
December 9, 2009, Wanda Chloe Strain, 76, left the arms of her
loving family to be welcomed into heaven following complications
from surgery.
She was born December 12,1932, in Sapulpa, Okla. to Clyde and
Golda Davidson. She graduated from Sapulpa High School. She
married Olas Merrill Strain on June 23,1951. They had three
daughters: Jacqulyn, Sharon and Marilyn.
She was employed by McMasters Insurance Counselors for
thirty-six years and was actively involved in Praise Fellowship
church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olas Strain; parents,
Clyde and Golda Davidson; sisters Opal King and Barbara
Davidson; brothers Dudley, Larry and Eddie Davidson; and her
beloved grandson Kevin Andrew Dillman.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands Jacki and
Danny Dillman, Sharon and Mike LaFevers and Marilyn and Bob
Pappano; grandson and his wife Brandon and Bobbi Pappano;
granddaughter and her husband Lauren and Dustin Wyzard;
granddaughter Katelyn LaFevers; great-grandsons Kadon and Gavin
Wyzard and Cameron Pappano; sisters Lois Stephenson, Mary
Metcalf, Shirley Tyler, Alice Childress, Linda Haney; brother
Bill Davidson and many other relatives and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 11,
2009 in the Praise Fellowship Church with the Reverend Gary
Brown officiating. Interment to follow in the
Green Hill
Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa.
