Emma Bell Evans Turner of Sapulpa, Okla., died Aug. 17, 2004, after suffering a lengthy illness.

Emma was born on Dec. 10, 1939 in Berryville. She attended high school in Berryville. She married Buel on Feb. 10, 1959 in Tulsa, Okla. Emma and Buel raised their children in Cushing, Okla., where Emma was employed by the Cushing Hospital and later moved to Sapulpa in 1984, where she lived until her death.
