Bethany Man Killed in Crash Near Sapulpa

Francis Wages Car Sideswipes Truck, Then Overturns

Wages, who was graduated from Bethany Peniel college in 1939, was en route to Bethany when the accident occurred. The school where he taught history and coached the basketball team finished its term Friday and he left Salem Saturday afternoon, driving through the night.

Highway patrolmen said he apparently fell asleep at the wheel. His car sideswiped the truck, which was going in the opposite direction, and turned

Wages Was born at Idabel and attended school at Ardmore, where he lived for several years. He was a former basketball player at Ardmore high school.

Survivors include his wife and 2-year-old son. Ken Reylon of Bethany. and five brothers, Bert. Ardmore: Alvin and William. Houston, Texas: A. C., Los Angeles. Calif.. and Delbert, Fort, Sam Houston, Texas.

Services will be conducted by the Merritt funeral home of Bethany at the Bethany Nazarene church at 2:30 Monday. Burial will be in Bethany cemetery.
