Nowata. Okla. died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998 at the age of 88.
Graveside services were held at Highland Cemetery, Oilton,
Okla. Tuesday. Feb. 24. 1998.
She was born in Dover. Ark. April 15,
1909 to Howard Hard and Hattie Reynolds Hard.
She married Ben D. Clark in Stillwater,
Okla.
She grew up in Arkansas and received her
education there. She moved to Oilton early in her married life.
Later, she moved to Tulsa, and then to Nowata in 1993.
She was an excellent swimmer and
received several Red Cross awards for her swimming. She was an
excellent seamstress. She retired from Douglas Aircraft.
She was a member of Eastern Star and
White Shrine and had received her 50 year pin.
Survivors include a daughter and
son-in-law. Lynne and Frank Hufford of Nowata: three sisters,.
six grandchildren, 13 great grand children and, no
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, Ben D. Clark, by one son, Joe Bob Crawford. one
daughter. Mae Dell King, her parents, three brothers and
two sisters.
Bill Killion officiated and interment
was at Highland
Cemetery in Oilton. The funeral was under the direction of
Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata.
