Funeral services for Michael Tunny Copeland, 38, of Tulsa, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 1994 at the Lawnwood Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Allen Holmes officiating.

Interment followed at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.

Copeland was born Jan. 29, 1956 in Tulsa to Roland and Elsie Copeland. He was a transmission specialist at Auto Transmission Specialists in Sapulpa. He was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Central High School in 1974 and Okmulgee Tech in auto mechanics in 1986.

Survivors include his parents of Tulsa; son Michael Shane Copeland of Sand Springs; sisters Connie McDugle and Ronda Jackson, both of Broken Arrow, Vickie Fees of Jennings, and Debbie Puckett of Bartlesville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
