Ida Alene Wilson-Harrison

Funeral services were held Friday. Jan. 23 at Michael's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Drumright for Cushing resident Ida Alene Wright. Interment followed in Highland Cemetery: at Oi1ton, Okla. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael's Funeral Home of Drumright.

Ida Alene was born in Yale, Okla. to Clyde Everett and Nora Rebecca (Idlett) Wilson on Nov. 7. 1950. She passed from this life unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998 at the age of 47 years.

She had married Kenneth Harrison and to this union, three children were born. She later married Joe Wright and had lived in Cushing the last five years. While living in Cushing, she had worked as a bank teller and most recently at the City Fountain Drug Store.

She was a very creative and loving person who enjoyed sewing and spending time with her children and family. She was best known by many people for the beautiful cakes she created and decorated.

She touched the lives of many people she came in contact with and will be remembered by her children as a loving, caring, understanding mother and "a best friend". She will be missed by many.

Her loving family includes one son, Kenneth Harrison of New Mexico; two daughters: Jennifer Irene Harrison and Rebekah Alene Harrison of Cushing; her mother, Nora Rebecca Calfee of Drumright; three brothers, three sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Fred Calfee in 1996.
