Drumright Couple's Wedding Revealed
Mr. and Mrs. LaDue To Live in
Stillwater
DRUMRIGHT - THE MARRIAGE of Miss Dephine
Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey E. Jones. Drumright and
Stephen LaDue, son of Mrs. J. M. LaDue. also of Drumright. took
place June 1.
The wedding vows were read at noon in
the home of the bride's parents by Rev. George P. Drake. pastor
of the First Baptist church, Drumright. The couple was attended
by Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jones Jr., DeQueen, Ark. Mrs. Horace
Beavers, Baton Rouge, La., lighted the candles.
The bride. who was given in marriage by
her father, wore an afternoon frock of white alpaca with white
accessories, She carried an ivory covered Bible covered with
white gardenias.
Harold V. Jones. soloist. Drumright,
accompanied by Miss Patty Lou Usher. Cushing, provided nuptial
music. Following the ceremony members of the immediate families
were served luncheon in the home of the bride's parents.
Both Mr. and Mrs. LaDue attended
Drumright high school. Late in the afternoon they left for
Stillwater where Mr. LaDue is a student at Oklahoma A. & M.
college.
