Two Stepchildren Are. Held For, Investigation

SAPULPA, Dec. :O.—Fred Lewis, oil field worker, 45 years old, was killed Instantly and Leonard Connor and Rose Tolley, his stepchildren, are in the county jail for investigation in connection with the shooting which occurred five miles southeast of here Thursday.

According to statements of the affair made at the sheriff's office, Lewis had his wife had agreed to separate and Lewis grew angry,, flourishing a gun, when his wife began moving household goods away.

in the quarrel, it is said that followed between Connor: and Lewis, Rosie Tolley tried to separate the men and was hurled across a bed. She is reported to have pulled a revolver from under the mattress and shot Lewis.
