Eugene C. Mannas, 69, died March 9, 1986, after a long illness. He was born Dec. 21, 1916 at Sapulpa OK. Graduated from Central High School in Tulsa OK. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in natural gas engineering at O.U., member of Kappa Alpha. He worked for Conoco for 21 years, also taught gas engineering classes at the O.U. Continuing Education Center for 20 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a natural gas consultant at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) of the home; a daughter, Lila Todd, and son-in-law, George Todd, OKC; a son, Paul Mannas, Tulsa OK; grandsons, Steven, Scott and Michael Mannas, Aubrey and Adam Todd; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Mannas. He is also survived by a brother, Dr. J.W. Mannas, Houston TX. He was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Funeral services at Smith & Kernke Funeral Chapel, 2pm Tuesday. Burial service Resurrection Cemetery Chapel.
