Therese C. (Mrs. Olen) Miller, funeral services were held at Saint Williams Catholic Church on June 5 for Therese Miller who died June 2, 1996 in Durant, Ok. Father Ken Harder, Father John Steichen, and Father Jake Males officiated. Therese was born in 1928 in Sapulpa to Alfred & Susan Fox Steichen. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1945. She graduated from Bishop John Carroll High School and, in 1950, married Olen Miller at Our Lady's Cathedral. They moved to Durant in 1953 where she was a homemaker and was active in the family's beer distributing company. She was a member of St. William's Catholic Church and active in the Altar Society and Church Women United.

She was preceded in death by a son, John F. Miller; a daughter, Caroline Miller Hartwell; & a brother, James Steichen.

She is survived by her husband; her 6 sons & 4 daughters-in-law, Olen Martin Miller Jr., Daniel & Kim Renee Miller, Patrick & Mary Miller, and Mark & Kim Miller, all of Durant, James & Renee Miller of Atkins, Ar, David Miller of Irving, Tx; a daughter & son-in-law, Marilyn & Tommy Hitchcock of Durant; brothers, Mark & wife Dortha Steichen of OKC, Father John Steichen of Union City; 3 sisters, Mary Steichen & Elizabeth Murray, and Karen & husband Bill McGovern, all of O KC; son-in-law, Harry Hartwell, Tulsa; sisters-in-law, Velma Vanvalkenberg, OKC & Phyllis Lambert, Stillwater; 8 grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
