Miss Abraham, Mr. Montgomery Are Wed in
Bristow Church
Bristow, APRIL 21 —Miss Luanda Jo
Abraham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Abraham, Bristow, became
the bride of Robert J. Montgomery, Tulsa, son of Mr. and Mrs..
T. W. Montgomery, Seminole, April 12. The wedding took place in
the First Presbyterian church in Bristow.
Mrs. Theresa Flo Grimes, Tulsa, sang
nuptial music, accompanied by Mrs. Champ Rainwater, Drumright,
organist. Candles were lighted by Miss Floydine Howe,
Stillwater. and Miss Joan Combs, Carlsbad. N. M.
Miss Doris Steele, Bristow. and Miss.
Billie Montgomery, Seminole, were bridesmaids. Mrs. Paul
Jackson, also of Bristow, was matron of honor. Ringbearers were
Jimmy and Jo, Jackson. Caroline Abraham was flower girl.
Ralph Scargall, Tulsa, served as best
man and ushers were Harlan Krumme, George Sisler, Sonny Abraham,
all of Bristow. Ted Kraut, Sapulpa, and Ned Miley, Oklahoma
City. Junior ushers were Joe Lee Abraham, Jackie Abraham and Pat
Moore, all of Bristow.
Following the ceremony the bride's
parents entertained at a reception in their home for a few
intimate friends and the out of town guest.
Immediately after the reception Mr. and
Mrs. Montgomery left for a brief wedding trip. They will live in
Tulsa.
