Nightingale passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. She was born
in Waycross, Ga., September 7,1955. Her family relocated to
Sapulpa, Okla. in 1964. She graduated from Sapulpa High School
in 1973.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, Roy Lee Ellis and Ginger Lee Ellis. She is survived by
her husband, Mike Nightingale of the home and son, Brett
Nightingale of Chicago, Il.
Other survivors include her sisters and
brothers-in-law and their children, Debbie and Dennis Gordon,
Matt Gordon, Mari Gordon and granddaughter, Ginlee Gordon Woods,
Darla and Steve Dill, Natalie Dill, Ben Smart and Granddaughter,
Abby Smart, Ryan Smart, Dakota Smart, and her brother and
sister-in-law and their daughter, Doug and Mindy Ellis and Kali
Ellis.
Until recently, Deanna was employed with
Show, Inc. for 19 years as a Program Coordinator. She expressed
much appreciation for her friends and co-workers at Show and
often described them as her second family. She was especially
fond of the many special individuals she represented and was
their staunchest supporter and advocate.
A memorial service is planned for Deanna
at Smith Funeral Home chapel 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 7,
2010.
In lieu of flowers, Deanna requested
that donations be made to the individuals and their vocations at
Show, Inc. A fund will be established hi her name to honor her
long commitment to the needs of the special individuals she
supported.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral
Home.
