Mary June Strong, 65, passed away Friday July 23, 2010 at Southcrest hospital in Tulsa. She was born on March 21, 1945 in Arkansas and was the daughter of Julia Thompson Winder.

She is preceded in death by her husband William J. Strong and a brother, Charles McClard.

Mary is survived by her mother Julia Winder of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; daughter Dawn Allen of Sapulpa, Okla.; four grandchildren, Mike King of Beaumont, Texas, Dustin King, Ashley Strong, of Sapulpa, and Emily Lindsay, of Sedgewickville, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Draedan King, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Madison and Trent Conrad of Sedgewickville,; and Mason Strong of Sapulpa; and one brother, Dick McClard, of Cape Girardeau.

Mary was an employee of Target until she retired in 2009. She lived in Kellyville, Okla. for the last 28 years, where she loved growing flowers. She was best known for her love of NASCAR and working outside in her flowers. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Services will be Tuesday July 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Kellyville City Cemetery.

The Strong family has entrusted the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
