After 43 year, service with railroads.
W. K. Watter, finished his last air brake repair job in the
Frisco's car shop here recently. With 34 years service behind
him, 17 of them here, Watters is getting completely away from
railroads.
He and his wife are to leave "at their
leisure" in the near future for a railway journey to the west
coast. His Frisco service was here, at Sapulpa, Kansas City,
Sherman. and Tulsa.
He served six years with the Santa Fe at
Cleburne. Texas. and three years with the Baltimore and Ohio at
Zanesville, Ohio.
After the west coast trip, the Watters
plan to return to Oklahoma and establish a home. here or in
Sapulpa. Their home now is at 310 SW 4.
