Tommy Joe Beason of Sapulpa, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the age of 62. Tommy was born March 5, 1949 in Havanna, Ark.

Tommy was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Masonic lodge number 170 of Sapulpa and a member of the Akdar Shine of Tulsa.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Barbara Beason of Booneville Ark., sister Carolyn Beason-Stevens of Cameron Okla., and son Douglas Saulmon of Sapulpa.

Survived by wife Jane of the home; sister Lynne Ivy and husband Jim Ivy of Booneville Arkansas, daughter Tamera Beason and companion James Law of Bristow Okla.; daughter Tabitha Hewitt and husband Doug Hewitt of Cleveland Okla.; son Christopher Saulmon and wife Angela Saulmon of Sapulpa Okla.; and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Thompson, Jim Thompson, Jack Seawright, and Wayne Spencer; pallbearers are Chris Carlpon, Ed Cloninger, Wayne Dobson, Bud Eubanks, Jack Walker, and Bruce Deshazo.

The service will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa Oklahoma at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011, and burial will be held at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville Okla. Officiating will be the Reverend Dan Larremore.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
