Magness Carnahan, 79, of Missouri and formerly of Sapulpa, died
Sept. 18, 2004.
Graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 24, 2004 at Green
Hill Memorial Garden under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your
favorite charity.
Mrs. Carnahan was first a homemaker and then a
community-minded volunteer in several organizations throughout
her adult life. She was a den mother for both Cub and Boy
Scouts, a lifetime member of Campfire, serving as leader for
both Bluebird and Campfire Girls. She served as mother advisor
for Rainbow Girls Assembly No. 8, she was a lifetime member of
Oklahoma Eastern Star, a Demolay Mom, a member of the Shriners
Ladies Auxiliary and a member of National Campers and Hikers
Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Carnahan,
and her daughter Carol Sue Kohler Allen.
Survivors include a son Mike Carnahan, of Texas; two
daughters Emily Johnson, of Missouri, and Terri Fletcher, of
Tennessee; two brothers; one sister; eight grandsons; six
great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
