Myra Nell Cross, 93, of Amarillo died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday in Freewill Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home of Odessa.

Born in Sapulpa, Okla., Miss Cross was a member of the USO and one of the first women cab drivers in Amarillo. She retired from Cunninghams Florist and was a manager of Goodwill until she was 83.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and EG Cross; and two sisters, Mary and June.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Obie.

The family suggests memorials be to Freewill Baptist Church,  Amarillo TX.
