Train Decapitates Sapulpa Farmer

Bristow March 14 (AP) Vern_ Haney, Sapulpa Farmer, was decapitated Saturday when he fell beneath the wheels of a freight train five miles northeast of Bristow.

Officers expressed belief that Haney had fallen from a freight train on which he was riding to Oklahoma City to visit a brother, H. L. Haney.

His wife, Mrs. Ellen Haney, of Sapulpa survives.
