Elmer Gene Horn, 81, of Sapulpa passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Maplewood Care Center, Sapulpa, OK. He was born on June 24, 1929 in Sapulpa, OK. to Jesse and Elsie (Curtis) Horn. He was employed as an Insurance Salesman. He served his country in the U.S. Army/Airforce.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

He is survived by his children, Roger Horn and wife Barbara; Cheryl Pickering and husband Charles; and Michael Horn; grandchildren, Christopher Horn and wife Stephanie; Brendan Horn and wife Summer; and James Fox; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Izabel and Braeden.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Sapulpa, OK. Officiating will be the Reverend Chad DeGonia. Bearers will be Mark Filmore, Gary McDaniel, Ollie Cue, Mike Horn, Roger Horn, Christopher Horn, and Brendan Horn. Honorary bearers will be Billy Hill and Rick Pickering. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, OK.
