January 27, 2004J[ay].[Dee]. Jackson, 82,
of Bristow, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004 in Bristow. He was born
to the family of Charles and Bessie Holman Jackson on Jan. 20,
1922 in Gore. He married Millie Taylor Oct. 19, 1946 in
Independence, Kan.
Survivors are his wife of 58 years Millie Jackson, of the
home, two daughters Pat McMillian, of Vera, and Janice Kay, of
Sand Springs; two sons Randal Lee Jackson, of Ardmore, and J.
Michael Jackson, of Bristow; two brothers Olen Jackson and
Thomas Jackson, of Ada; one sister Lillian Wyeth, of Tulsa; six
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28,
2004 at the Park-Grove Cemetery of Broken Arrow. Pastor Phillip
Jones will officiate the service with interment following under
the care and direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home of
Bristow.

Millie Kathryn Jackson
(January 31, 1914 - April 10, 2009)
Millie Kathryn Jackson was born January 31, 1914 to Thomas
Jefferson and Martha Jane Taylor. She departed this life April
10, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years, 2 months,
and 10 days. Millie was raised around the Hobart area and
attended school in Tahlequah.
Millie Kathryn Taylor and Jay Dee Jackson were united in
marriage October 19, 1946 in Independence, Kansas. Millie and
Jay D. had been residents of Bristow since 1984.
Jay Dee preceded her in death September 24, 2004 in Bristow.
Her hobbies included cooking, bird watching, hiking and
hunting for arrowheads.
She is survived by two daughters, Pat McMillian of Vera,
Oklahoma, & Janice Kay Jackson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two
sons, Randal Lee Jackson of Bristow, and Michael Jackson also of
Bristow. There are no public services planned. In lieu of
flowers donations can be made to the John 3:16 Mission, INC.
