JACKSON, Mirrell Milo, age 85, passed away on Monday, September
20, 2004 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on November 27, 1918 in Tulsa
to Jack and Mavis Jackson.
On February 10, 1946 Mirrell married Marilynn Wolfarth and they
resided in Sapulpa, where they owned a coffee shop in the St.
James Hotel. They then moved to Tulsa, where he worked as a
Sheet Metal Craftsman in the roofing industry, and then finally
settled in Broken Arrow.
After 54 years of marriage Marilynn preceded him in death in
August of 2000. Mirrell had a love for animals and a love for
the outdoors. He loved growing things and working with his
hands. Mirrell was always outside working with his plants or
taking care of his many animals.
Mirrell Milo Jackson is survived by: his son and
daughter-in-law, Rick and Michele Jackson of Broken Arrow and
their daughter, Richele; 3 brothers, Jack Jackson of Broken
Arrow, Jay Jackson of Pryor and Ted Williams of Claremore; a
sister, Joyce Williams of Pryor; and 3 grandchildren. Memorial
donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation
will be held from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the
Adams Crest Cremation Center. A Memorial Service will be held at
1 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the Adams Crest
Cremation Center Chapel, Tulsa, OK 74112.
