SAPULPA -- Services for former Ringling resident Floyd W. "Butch" Jones, 54, were conducted Aug. 31, 2000, at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa.

Jones was born April 11, 1946, at Olney, Ill., to Jack and Jean Jones. He died Aug. 28, 2000, in the Muskogee veterans hospital.

Raised in Wilson, he served with the Army in the Vietnam War during 1964-67, then moved to Sapulpa where he became a truck driver. He and Mary A. Fletcher were married Nov. 11, 1989. She preceded him in death Dec. 26, 1999.

He is survived by stepchildren, Debra Daggs, Tammy Wolfe, and Peggy Hyde, Sapulpa , and Robert Barok, Tulsa; sisters, Lois Gibson, Sulphur, Mary Baucom, Grandbury, Texas, and Cheryl Wilkes, Crowley, Texas; stepbrother, Darryle Rausin, Mesquite, Texas; 16 step grandchildren; and great-grandson.
