Memorial service for Isaac Joseph "Joe" Keener, 73, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Northwest Church of Christ.

Mr. Keener died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at a Lawton hospital. Arrangements are by Green Hill Funeral Home, Sapulpa . He was born May 19, 1929, to Lewis and Ester Keener in Atkins, Ark. He married Mary Harris in 1960. He was a school teacher for five years and a minister for more than 50 years, preaching in Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma. His ministry included a radio and a television program.

Survivors include his wife; three sons: Thomas Wayne, Joseph Lee and Edward Lewis Keener; a daughter, Mary Ann Williams; three grandchildren: Angie, Andrew and Christi; two brothers: Elbert and Clarence; and a sister, Edna Teeter. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Irma Lee; his parents; and a brother, Iverson Keener.
